You know we're both Fresno State alumni. We both bought our textbooks in this building.
And so, obviously, we wanted to, you know, reach out to Fresno State students first before
we reached out to anybody else, to encourage them to talk to us and talk about what's
in the book. The main lesson of the book is to take advantage of
the opportunities that you have on campus. There's so much available to students that
is only available during the short period of time while they are in college. And the
book kind of walks everybody through what those opportunities are, which opportunities
have more value than others, and how you literally can start your job search from your freshman
year if you get your ducks in a row and start your networking and those sorts of things.
Yeah and opportunities are not necessarily just even on campus. But people love students.
They want to hire students. And once you graduate, you're just another job searcher. And it's
a lot harder to find a position once you've already graduated versus if you look while
still you're a student, while still affordable, and while still willing to learn and be excited
about different positions.
