Hi this is Phil from Wikitude, I'd like to show you the latest development
coming to our augmented reality SDK. While adding text
images, and 3D models to an augmented reality scene
has been part of Wikitude for a while now, the latest release brings you
video playback.
Augmented reality videos will make your magazines,
movie posters, or retail packaging more informative
and interactive. Using an interesting print article as a trigger
you can delight readers with spectacular videos. Using a geolocation approach
you can trigger famous movie scenes by connecting videos
to a spot in your city. Video support is also coming to the Wikitude Studio
which makes adding videos to your target images a one-minute task.
Simply add the video augmentation to your work area
and point it to your online video. Select a thumbnail image
and you're done. Videos from YouTube and Vimeo can be easily imported as well.
For those of you who want to take it a step further you can even use videos containing a
transparent background.
Very much like the guys in Hollywood, shoot your video in front of a green screen
and after some easy editing steps add it to your project.
The end result presents a pretty awesome video on top of your print article.
Try video augmentations today with Wikitude SDK,
or the Wikitude Studio.
