Inside, we're inside yeah. We're going to be showing you inside this video inside how
to be able to light your videos inside. So let's go and have a look inside.
So being inside is a lot easier to be able to capture and do really good footage because
the natural lighting that comes from outside which there is actually natural light in there
and also the light that comes from the roof and the ceiling make it a lot easier to be
able to film. Therefore you don't have to worry too much about where the light is coming
from. So being in a shopping center like this, you've got lighting from literally all angles
and it's all natural daylight.
Now what I want to do is actually stand over there and show you a really, really harsh
lighting in scene where there's actually sunlight. So sitting over here, you've got the sun right
behind me and when you're filming in this kind of angle, it's really, really bright.
For me, you know, I'm really hot right now but at the same time, the camera is going
to be pretty much dark. Am I right to say that Justin? Yep so you can hardly see me.
So what's the point of actually filming so make sure you don't have sunlight directly
at the camera like that. That's actually the wrong thing.
The best lighting is - probably let's just go for a walk down here actually. See as you
can see, Ikea is quite well lit up right behind us but also too, I'm well lit up here. Am
I right to say it? Yep. Okay so as you can see, anywhere you go into the shopping center
where there's natural lighting, where there's just a little bit of lighting up on ceilings,
you'll be fine. So that's perfectly where the best place is to be able to film is just
literally anywhere in a shopping center or in your own home where you've got natural
lights coming through. So yeah, give that a shot and see how you go with those lighting
tips.
