Hello everyone! My name is Davis, and welcome to the channel of Davis Does! A few days
ago I went to go see Mockingjay Part 2 and I totally did NOT cry.
[Crying] Katniss and like Gale and Peeta. And and Buttercup!
Totally.
But anyways, through my tears... I mean sweat from my eyes,
I was still able to look out for different hairstyles to show you guys.
And I was a little bit more disappointed because in the other movies there were more intricate hairstyles.
And there wasn't as many this time- but I was still able to find two hairstyles that I really liked
One that Prim wore [crying]
And one that Commander Paylor wore. [crying] Commander Paylor! ...aaactually I wasn't that
emotionally attached to her. Sorry. By the way these are not spoilers, I kind of cried
at every single character ever.
Sooo yeah! Let's get started!
This first hairstyle Prim wore is so cute, and when I saw it I thought it was pretty cool that I have worn this hairstyle before.
So start off by giving yourself a deep side part.
I like to then prep my hair by brushing it onto one side so when
I add in hair to the braid, it is smooth. Then take a section of hair right next to
your part and divide into three equal parts. This will be a Dutch braid, so put the outer
strands under the middle strand, not over like a regular braid. Then add in hair from
both sides. So again, for this braid you are putting outer strands under the middle strand
and adding in hair from both sides. Once you get to about your ear, start taking hair from
the other side of your head. I like to comb through these sections with my fingers before
adding them in. Do this until you run out of hair to add in and just regular, Dutch
braid. Then secure with an elastic and we’re done with the first hairstyle!
This second style is an altered look of Commander Paylor.
Make two parts that create an about 2-inch section
in the middle. Secure everything else in to a ponytail to get it out of the way. This
braid started with a little angle in the front, so I just made two diagonal parts and clipped
the hair we are not using to the sides. Then take a section near the front and Dutch braid
again. This is when you put the left and right strands under the middle strand and add in
hair. And after a little bit I stopped adding in hair, and then regular Dutch braided. And
now, take out your ponytail and clips if you had any. In the movie, the commander had a
low ponytail, however I have bangs and layers so my hair would come out of the ponytail,
so I decided to change it a little bit and have a high ponytail. So I just added all
of the hair, including the braid, and secured it. Then I took out the small hair tie of
the braid. And again some hairs were sticking out so I just added some Bed Head Mega Whip
which is a hair texturizer but I use it to slick back baby hairs. By the way, this video
is NOT sponsored, just thought I would tell you what product I use. If you want you can
leave it like this or, you could braid your ponytail like it was in the movie. This braid
can just be a regular braid. Secure with a hair tie and voila!
