What makes hydra such a strong item on champions is due to it's ability
to cancel animations. As you can see in these few clips, I cast hydra while
my ability animations go off. By doing so I'm dealing more damage in a shorter
amount of time. This works the best with champion abilities that have extended
casting animations. Obviously there are a multitude of abilities that cannot
be canceled by Hydra, Renekton Q and Xin Zhao Ultimate are perfect examples
of this. It is up to you guys to figure out which champions can or can't
utilize this animation cancel to their advantage. Here are some general Annie stun knowledge
for people who want to play her. When playing against spell shields, you should
hold 3 pyro stacks, if a spell shield is active, you let disintegrate
burn through it, and stun your enemy with incinerate or Tibbers. If there
is no spell shield, you can cast molten shield before the projectile hits and
stun your enemy.
The way her stun works is that when Annie casts an offensive spell, once it
reaches it's destination it'll check to see if Annie has full pyro stacks,
if she has full stacks then the stun will go off. Here is a visual example,
notice that although Disintegrate was cast first, incinerate landed
first and put the stun down onto ashe.
