Hi! In today's video I'm going to show you how to make this FTISLAND logo.
It's the first tutorial of a series that I called k-lay pop where I'll show you how to make charms and pieces with polymer clay related with the k-pop world.
For this charm the materials that we're going to need are:
First yellow clay.
And also black clay.
A ball tool.
Two templates for the outside and the inside parts of the logo.
One must be smaller than the other and you can easily draw them by hand.
A cutter or a blade , I'll be using both.
Chalk pastels.
And liquid Sculpey.
First we're going to roll the black clay.
When we have it we're going to use the big template to create the back of the logo.
Using our template we're going to cut the outside part carefully.
And we're going to do the same with the yellow clay, this time using the small template.
Once we have both pieces we're going to stick them together underneath the back clay and on top the yellow.
You can use some liquid sculpey so they'll stick better.
And trying to make the sides match.
If we see that some parts are bigger or don't look nice we can use our blade to fix it.
Now with the ball tool we're going to make the letters of the logo.
I suggest you have a picture of the logo to help you.
Without making too much pressure we're going to mark the letters.
It doesn't need to be perfect because we're going to paint on them.
Now that we have the letters we're going to paint them.
To paint them we're going to use the liquid sculpey, you don't need to much.
And we're going to make it black with the chalk pastel.
When we have mixed it well we're going to start putting it little by little on top of the letters that we made as reference.
If you make a mistake don't worry you can fix it taking out the excess with the ball tool.
We polish it until we have a nice result and lastly the last thing that we need to do is bake it as the instructions on the packaging of our clay says.
That's all! Hope you liked the first video on this series.
If you want you can leave suggestions for the next tutorials of k-pop on the comments. See you on the next one! Bye!
