Junckers portable sports floor is actually a solid timber floor.
It's an area, elastic floor meaning it's not like a rubber mats where when you stand
on it, it just depresses at a point but it
depresses over a whole area so it's good for sports like you know,
dancing, ball games like basketball or handball.
We see the portable floor system being used in a lot of places like for example,
hotels,
clubs, we can actually install it in the meeting rooms or ball rooms which are
you know, originally,
competent but you can just laid it over
and you can accidently convert the space into an event space.
The time taken actually depends on the size of the floor and of course,
the number of people installing the floor
banks you can see it's really quick and easy,
one person can actually lift up one module so you don't need to
have a few people carrying the things.
If you have events, you can have volunteers, even student volunteers they
can actually
carry the modules and actually lays the floors for you. This ? is half the
standard size of one point eight meters
times half the meters of the width
and you join them together by a standard tungsten glue and then with a bracket or a
clip.
We'll ensure the right installation and size
in terms of controlling
the frictation of the whole floor.
So it's actually a floating floor system
that works and fluctuates according to humidity and temperature of
the room
and everything should actually be fitted into a
a forty foot container.
It will be
approved for
up to Olympic level
in sports floors
in terms of performance, shock absorb efficiency,
friction and ball rebounds. The floor can be actually put onto any flat
surface, the tiled floor, carpeted floor or even
bare concrete as long as the floor is not too uneven.
The foam can actually take up some
discrepancy
and the height,
and you can use it already once it's laid.
We're really happy to be part of this exciting event,
you know, the Inaugural Youth Olympics in the world and Singapore's the first
country to host it so we're very
excited do our part.
