Should you bathe indoor cats?
It is highly likely to generate videos worthy of Youtube.
Can you bathe cats?
Yes, you can. When it comes to fleas, it might be necessary.
I’ve heard it might be needed for cats, like dogs need baths.
You might need to do it to remove dander and loose hair. You should wash them if your cat
is really dirty and matted.
I thought their tongues did that job.
There’s only so much mud you can eat before getting sick. And if the cat has been rolling
around in dog poop in victory of beating it in some competition, you don’t want the
cat licking that off.
I’ve heard that outdoor cats need to be bathed every week or two.
Unless the cat is filthy from mud or blood, once a month is fine. For indoor cats, every
two or three months is fine unless the cat is a mess.
So you don’t have to bathe them every week or so.
Only if the cat keeps getting into paint cans, dog poop or other messes.
I heard that hairless cats need more bathing than regular cats.
The oil and dirt builds up on them like a dirty car. They have to get bathed every week
or two, though it obviously doesn’t take as long as a furry cat.
I know thick fur makes it take more time to wash a dog. What about cats?
The same is true. And like dogs, you can lessen the work load by brushing them often.
I’ve heard some cats like baths.
And some of them have been trained to poop in the toilet. That does not make it normal.
My cat freaks out just at the sound of a running bath.
So use pet wipes to clean in the interim. They’re like baby wipes but for animals.
I think cats are neater than babies, in every way.
