Hello everybody, It's Heroboard in my first tutorial where I'll show you how to create a channel background
Let's see a quick review of all the parts included
First of all, we will start from a template like this, or this other for partnered youtubers
The only difference is the partnered layout comes with an extra layer, which is that
This layer is the top banner we can see in most partnered channels, where the links, logos will be placed
Then, we should create the title letters, in this case we can see "iDvZ", the last background I've made
We can use Cinema4D or any other 3D Editing Program, If we have the correct configuration
We should get an image similar to this, without the annoying black background, [There will be more videos explaining the correct setup]
The next step is te creation and colocation of the layers using Gimp. For that we will click in File>Open as layer>
And we'll open the image we should have rendered before. We'll add the basic gradients and shadows
How can be this one or that other gradient
Then, we'll add the flares and optical effects. File>Open as layer> and we'll open the desired ligth [I have just uploaded a Lights and flares pack]
For eliminate this black background we'll select the layer, Right Click>Colors>Color to Alpha and we'll select the black color
Thanks to this Alpha Channel, transparency, we can use the layer with the light perfectly, move, copy ...
The fifth step could be the colocation of Social networks' buttons, in this case I'll add Twitter's button
In my 1,2k subs special you have a pack with a lot useful buttons like this
What we'll do is File>Open as layer>Select the button. Once finished, we just need to scale and place the button and the name
Well, It's almost finished, we should make a color correction, apply the last effects and export it.
We should export the project for getting the final image using JPG or PNG formats. Compare both and use the best for you.
The tutorial is finished, I hope it helped you. I will be uploading more videos explaining deeply these parts.
THANKS! LIKE, FAV IF YOU ENJOYED, AND COMMENT PLEASE! :)
