Hi, my name is Clint Schambach and I am a personal trainer and bootcamp instructor with
Level Up Fitness in St Louis, MO. One question that I don’t get asked often
enough, and something you should ask your prospective personal trainer before hiring
them, is how long have they been personal training?
Most people fail to ask this question because they think that each personal trainer is certified
and that there isn’t much difference between individual trainers. This couldn’t be further
from the truth. By just taking a little extra time to ask
your personal trainer this question can save you a lot of headaches and even save you money
in the long run. Although a person’s personal training experience is not 100% indicative
of being a good personal trainer, it can greatly increase your chances of screening any bad
ones. A personal trainer’s experience will give you the peace of mind that they have
worked with many clients already and that means they have had to deal with a wide array
of fitness and weight loss goals. This just means that there is a better chance that they
have already dealt with someone that had similar goals as you, and that means they will be
able to deal with any problems that may arise, or address any concerns that you may have
along the way. Something that you need to keep in mind is
that many times when you walk into a local gym or fitness center, you will just be paired
up with just any personal trainer that is available and sitting around. And many times
you do not have to even be certified to get hired at national chain gyms.
If you or anyone you know is struggling with fitness or weight loss, and has been going
to their local gyms, fitness center, or health club bootcamp without seeing any fat loss
results, then let me invite you to check out additional videos on our website or YouTube
