Hi my name is Cindy Castillo with Castillo Law today I would like to talk with you about
what to do if you been placed on probation
Now this is often a topic that's not really addressed with you after you've pled guilty
to an offense and have been sentenced by a judge. It is very important that you maintain
a very professional relationship with your probation officer.
First off a probation officer is going to assess you right away and determine whether
or not you're somebody that he or she needs to supervise and monitor on a regular basis
or if you are one of those individuals who he or she just expects to pay their probation
fee each month.
If you get off on the wrong foot with your probation officer this can tend to mean a
lot of visits by the probation officer. Sometimes a probation officer will write you up for
things that you seem or you think is not appropriate.
So it's very important to establish a very good rapport with your probation officer early
on.
Now if you find yourself in a situation where perhaps you have gotten off on the wrong foot
with your probation officer and you receive a petition to revoke your probation you need
to speak with an attorney right away.
Please feel free to contact me at Castillo Law Phoenix or you can call me at 480-206-5204.
