Okay, the biggest question, how do I find the best hair removal spa or how do I find
the best laser or wax spa. In general there's a couple of things that we can do. We all
know about the internet. Let's just do some Googling on that. Google a couple of places
in your area. See what people have said about them. See if actually the fashion magazines
use them as experts. So that would be a good start right there.
The next thing is call them up. I always say that somebody if they're a specialist in their
field everybody from the front desk to the specialists themselves should understand what
they do at the company. So let's say it's waxing. Let's talk to them. Do you wax? Do
you do bikini waxes? What type of wax do you use? Another type of question is how often
have you been in business? How many locations do you have? I would use that for the wax
and I could also use the same types of questions for the laser.
The other thing I always say is, can I come in for a complimentary test patch? Usually
you'd use that on a laser but if anybody called Completely Bare, we'd say absolutely come
on in. What are we looking for? That the wax place has two types of wax. The laser places
should have at least two types of lasers. There's lasers for dark skin which is a YAG
and then for lighter skin types and hair colors the Alexandrite. That's what I recommend to
start off.
