Hi! In this video I'll teach you how to make your own watercolour creatures!
Like these. First I'll tell you what you need to make them.
We will obviously use watercolours. I have better ones but these will do their job
since it has got many colours so it will be easier to find the hues we want.
As for me, I'll use a fine paintbrush, not a super fine one since I'd like it to pick up a decent amount of water.
We'll use watercolour paper, or a strong one that doesnt curve outwards when water is applied (like this one).
Lastly, kitchen paper and whatever suits you best for inking!
In my case I'm going to use super fine pens, as you can see.
First I'm going to draw a spot in a corner, full of water.
Then I'll add extremities and other details.
I'll be doing the same with a different colour on the other side. Both colours will blend eventually.
You can also try a similar technique: first paint the shape of your creature, only with water.
Then you pick up colours and touch the shape here and there. If there's enough water, they'll mix together.
This series I'm doing consists on humanoid creatures
but you can try out crazier shapes If you feel like it! Give it a try.
You can also try painting with dried brush strokes
or using kitchen paper if you feel like there's too much paint or water.
This is the first part of it. I'll show you how I make 4 of these (Not two as I say in the video)
Once they're dried, we'll start with the final part.
If you mess up with the watercolour, don't panic, it's easy to disguise stuff at the second part of the process.
By the way, before I forget about it, there will be a public presentation of Vloggers Now! 2 the 21th of December, in Granada (Spain).
You will probably see me there!
So far, I only know the date and that it's in Granada. That's it.
Once there's more information about it, I'll probably talk about it in another video.
By the time you're done with the fifth or fourth one, chances are your first creature will be dry.
So let's move on to the second part!
Now it's time to add details you couldn't before, when they were wet.
Like adding even more watercolour to it or drawing a face with ink.
As for me, I draw very simple faces on them and different details depending on the character.
Sometimes I outline some elements, like hands and feet, I don't know, it all depends on the creature you're drawing.
You'll get inspired differently depending on the little monster you have created.

Here it is, finished!
That's it, I hope you liked this video and I'd like to see your own watercolour critters too!
In fact, if you upload them to your social networks, try to mention me and I'll check them out!
See you in the next video, bye!
