Hey, everyone.
So today I'm just going to show you
quickly how to do swoopy bangs, because a lot of people
ask me that.
So all you need is a flat brush, a round brush,
and of course a hair dryer.
And basically I'm going to tell you first what to do
and then I'm going to show you, so there.
What you do.
I wear my bangs in this direction.
So when you start out-- I've already put some mousse up here
and I washed just my bangs, not the rest of my hair.
You can do that.
You should skip some days, not wash your hair
every single day.
But if your bangs get greasy, they get greasy.
So wash them, and then make them swoop.
So the first thing is the flat brush.
You're going to take them, and since my bangs
lay this direction, I'm going to start by blow drying them
in this direction because that just gets them molded more.
And that gives them some volume because you're
going in the opposite direction.
So since we're going in the exact opposite direction,
then I take them diagonally from how I do them just
to blow dry this and get this dry so we can have some volume.
And I have some hairs that aren't part of it, too,
but that's OK, I'll work with it.
Then, once you've done all that over
here you're going to take the round brush
and just go straight out forward like this,
going that direction, dry them, dry them, dry them.
Then instead of keeping it under the whole time,
I bring mine and put it out and bring the hair dryer
and dry them in this direction.
You can do this direction, too, just kind
of molding them and then bringing them down.
And then you want to put them back under and keep molding
them.
And that's how you get the swoop.
That's how I get the swoop, at least.
Not everybody does the same thing,
so I'm just sharing with you my version.
So, I'm going to probably speed it up or something,
I don't know.
I am still getting used to these beauty tutorial things.
So anyway, enjoy.
Waaa!
So, if you want them to actually stay like this all day,
what I do, instead of just spraying the top,
I pull them back and spray along this line
just to give them some extra hold.
And then I go back and shape them again
because they're still warm, they're
not going to go anywhere.
Once you've sprayed the top, this is what they look like.
And you can see they have that little swoosh to them.
So yeah, that's the swoopy ***, and that was a short tutorial.
So I hope you're enjoying the 12 days of Christmas.
And if you have any suggestions or anything for me to show you,
just comment.
And thanks for watching.
Bye!
