If you're a transfer student and new to campus, Cofrin Library offers a
variety of resources and services.
Working on a paper or project? The Cofrin Library website is the place to start.
From there you have access to millions of articles from newspapers,
magazines, and scholarly journals -- plus millions of books, too.
So how do you get access? You can start with the Search@UW search box
on the library website. Use it to do a quick search for books,
articles, and more. Simply type in your keywords,
browse the results, and if you need to -- limit by type --
such as just books, or just articles.
If you are specifically looking for books, Search@UW
will list books at Cofrin Library and across the UW System.
If you need to do a more in-depth search for articles,
you can use the Search by Subject link. Select the subject area you are
researching
and pick one of the library's databases to find articles. Many of these articles
will be available
online in our library's databases. You can print out the articles,
download them, or email them to yourself. For articles that are not online,
you can request a free via our Fast, Free and Full Text link.
To access these resources from off-campus,
just make sure you have your UWGB username and password handy.
That's the same username and password you use a check your campus email
and D2L. Looking for a place to study?
Cofrin Library has spaces for group work and individual study.
Comfy couches and chairs are available throughout the library.
If you need a quiet place to study, check out the Miller Reading Room on the 5th
floor.
Or if you're working on a group project, ask for a group study room
at our 2nd floor Plaza Welcome Desk.
For your computing needs we have over 50 computers,
both PC and Mac. We also loan out laptops,
iPads, and Amazon Kindle e-readers.
If you have questions about finding information,
we have people who can help. Librarians are available in person,

an instant messaging -- to help guide
you through the research process, and answer any questions you might have
about using the library website
and how to request books and articles.
