Thirsty?
Can you imagine drinking this for the rest of your life?
A quarter of the world's urban population today live without access to
drinking water.
While in many places fresh and clean water is taken for granted in others it
is a scarce resource to to the lack of water or contamination of the sources.
Welcome to YAKU an award winning game that deals with the shortage of
drinking water, its consequences and possible solutions for communities at risk.
Yaku is one of the few educational games about water, a simulation featuring
real life situations.
Your challenge in this game is to provide water services for different
communities and to be sure they're managed in a equitable and harmonious way.
Otherwise these solutions won't be available and family members will get
dehydrated, sick or could even die. There is also a complete level editor
included in the game. This way you can create, share and play levels made by
other people.
The information in Yaku is one hundred percent accurate checked by
professionals in the field.
This is an opportunity to make a small but positive difference to our audience,
by showing them a glimpse of what really happens in the world we all live in.
We hope you like this groundbreaking project and are looking forward to
releasing the game soon. Thank you for watching.
