Hi girls! In today’s video we will make a monochrome one stroke, that is with one color.
You’ll see how to make leaves that look like oak leaves.
I hope that you will enjoy this video. Let’s have a look at it!
First I applied a blue Revlon base.
Then I use turquoise blue iridescent acrylic paint.
With a moss I have made a shade off. Really sorry; I forgot to film that part.
For the one stroke, you will either need a square or a beveled brush, your choice.
Then I dip one-third or one-quarter of the brush in white acrylic paint.
I shade off on my palette. That's important to blend in the white color so that it doesn't look like a big white line.
Then I make 3 small arcs.
First I make a small arc, then a bigger one
and finally a third one of the same height as the first.
Make sure to release your brush between each arc.
I've waited for it to dry and then I apply a second layer to darken the color.
Then I use my detail brush: ROUBLOFF DK13R 00. The references are in the descriptions below.
This brush is great! As from now, I’ll only use this one. I recommend it!
So, I dip the brush in white acrylic paint and I'm now gonna make a very fine spiral
with small leaves hanging to it.
To draw the leaves, press on the brush and release it.
I'll add some leaves on the side.
I draw a small line, I press on my brush and I release it.
Then inside of the oak leaves, I add some little dots with the use of a dotting tool and white acrylic paint.
And I add some more dots at the edge of my nail with the same paint I used for the shade off
that is the turquoise iridescent acrylic paint.
Now you only need to add a rhinestone with some top coat.
When done, apply the final top coat to protect your design.
I hope that you enjoyed this video!
