Perhaps like other small business owners,
you would love to have training
or marketing videos for your small business.
But you feel that they are too expensive
to have someone create for you,
and to difficult and time consuming
to make by yourself.
In this video,
we will show you how to create your own video
in a simple and quick way.
Once you have decided what your video
will be about
and have created an outline
of what you want to present,
create your presentation slides in PowerPoint.
For the purpose of this video,
I have created a sample presentation.
When creating a video version
of a presentation,
you probably want to add some human elements
such as voice narration and laser pointers.
On the Slide Show tab,
click Record Slide Show.
Select Slide and animation timings
and Narrations and laser pointer.
Click Start Recording when you feel ready.
Press CTRL key and hold down the left button
to focus on the contents
that you want to draw attention to.
You can pause and resume
by using the Recording shortcut menu.
When you finish,
right-click the slide and click End Show.
The recorded slide show timings
are automatically saved
and the slide show appears in Slide Sorter view
with timings beneath each slide.
In addition,
you can include animation and transition
in your video.
You can apply animation effects
to text or objects on individual slides
and transition effects between the slides.
Once you have recorded the slides,
what you need to do is to save it as a video.
On the File menu, click Export,
and then click Create a video.
You can choose a resolution for your video
and select Use Recorded Timings and Narrations.
For the slides with no timing information,
you can specify the default timing
for those slides.
When you’re done with configuration,
click Create Video.
Give your video a file name,
and save it to a folder location.
The video creation process might take some time
depending on the length and complexity
of the presentation.
You have just created a video presentation
in PowerPoint.
