A little girl in Texas had all her dreams come true on Wednesday when her street turned
into a magical scene from a fairytale right before her eyes.
Five-year-old Claire Lankford was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer when she was just
three and a half years old.
Her parents wanted to give her an amazing experience where she could be a real-life
princess for a day.
So - her father Kevin dressed up as Prince Charming and carried her out of their home,
through a group of cheerleaders, and into a beautiful white horse-drawn carriage.
Claire's parents told reporters what the day meant to their family.
This was incredible.
We just want her to know how much she's loved, and I think that's what anyone would want
to know in their lifetime, no matter how long or short it may be.
Little Claire's carriage passed through hundreds of neighbours and well-wishers as people waved
balloons, a marching band played songs and locals threw flowers.
So, what did Princess Claire think of it all?
I like it.
