Erik Michielsen: What makes your work meaningful?
Mike Germano: I would say after now -- Wow, 7 years in business, it starts to get meaningful
when the projects that we're working on, you're seeing people have these unbelievable unique
experiences. For instance, we just built for Red Bull, the ability for people to upload
pictures and have Red Bull athletes sign them on their mobile phones, so it's a digital
way of doing signatures, so it's something that's really never been done before, and
we just thought, you know, Red Bull's cool, we'll launch that, and we launch it. And all
of a sudden, you know, we come in and the developers like take a look at this, and they
show you screens of, you know, some mom who uploaded a picture of her 5-year-old snowboarding,
and to her favorite snowboarder, and he wrote back like, "Hey, you know, I wish you good
luck," you know, and sending these personal messages and these people are getting so excited
about it, so, we want to facilitate this awesome digital experience that we always knew deep
down that social media could allow, and this teaming up with the fact that brands are,
you know, now really helping facilitate on the financial and the connection side, and
social from the technology side and the opportunity side, how they brought those 2 things together,
we're in a unique place to make these all happen, so -- giving this experience of 5-year-old
who'll never meet Travis Rice is just really cool for us. So, every day, the projects are
getting more meaningful, they're getting better, we're doing a better job at executing them,
so it's more exciting 'cause for us it seems limitless of what we're gonna be able to do,
and the phone that's ringing off the hook, the clients feel the same way too, so it's
very cool for us.
