My name is Ted Grambeau. I'm an action-sports-fashion-lifestyle photographer.
I have spent the last 30 years
photographing surf around the world with adventure travel and action.
More recently, in commercial work I've enjoyed working in and around the water
in all sorts of formats.
The recent addition of a housing to suit a camera
that is of incredible high resolution quality
opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
The flash syncronization of 1600/s means you
can shoot in daylight without carrying massive studio flashes, you can use portable flashes,
you can shoot on location pretty much anywhere, your camera is fully protected.
It's a sports housing, not a dive housing. The difference is the ease of operation.
The AquaTech housing itself is probably one of the most user friendly
pieces of equipment I've worked with.
You can change aperture and shutter and all the other controls on the back to review and alter
any of the movements of the camera. It's really simplistic in it's operation.
It has flash connectivity in and out of the water. It has got an amazing array of possibilities.
The quality with such a high resolution camera takes it to a whole other level.
You can crop in on images and still exceed the highest resolution on 35mm cameras.
You can go anywhere on this camera.
The combination of the high quality of the Phase One with it's 80 mega pixel
back and the AquaTech housing system has opened up a whole lot of new possibilities.
Creatively, I can go anywhere and take it further than I ever have before so it's a
really exciting time in photography when combining two great products takes you further than
you thought was possible so enjoy!
