Lissette: Now let's check out the bottom stairs of the bookstore, where you can find everything you'll need
classroom textbooks, or a computer, software. And, you'll even have special help trying to find your books if you can't find them.
Cathy's also downstairs. Everything you need, for your computer needs. And remember, you charge all these things to your bursar's account,
for the first couple of weeks of school.
Employee: If you're looking for computers, or software, you can go down to our CATS department which is on the bottom floor.
Employee: They're very competitive.
Employee: It just goes back into the students, and the community, because everything's so discounted and accessible.
Employee: They sell computers...
Employee: And they have Macs, Gateway, lots of different styles.
Employee: Apple, iPods...
Student: It's cool because everything down here's academically appraised, so everything's a LOT cheaper.
Student: Like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, a lot of Apple products.
Employee: There's only two Apple stores, and we're one of them, in Tucson.
Student: I had computer issues like a year ago, and they directed me to some people, and they fixed like the virus
that I had, so it was really awesome.
Student: Just try to do the best business. It's a really good idea if you're a student to come here, and purchase here.
Lissette: We're downstairs at the bookstore, and I'm about to get my books, but I really don't know how to get them, and I don't have
my booklist. So, luckily, I found my friend Matt who's going to help me do that.
Matt: Hi, well my name's Matt and I'm textbook customer service, and if anybody has any questions they usually come find me.
When they go buy their books during the school rush. So, they can find me,
and they give me their book list, and they can go around and find their books.
Matt: So, it's not a problem. Lissette: So, let's get started.
Matt: Alright, so the best way to do this is to go ahead and login on your Student Link using your student ID and your PIN number.
Matt: Go ahead and click Web Auth Login. Lissette: OK.
Matt: OK. We're gonna go ahead and bring up your schedule. Lissette: OK! How do I do that? Matt: Your schedule's right there.
Matt: And click on your booklist.
Lissette: Like this? Matt: Drop down to the upcoming semester that you're gonna be using.
Lissette: Fall 2008? Matt: Fall 2008, correct.
Lissette: And view? Matt: View. Lissette: OK.
Matt: Now we have all your classes right here, so go ahead and hit printable version.
Lissette: Cool. Matt: And now you have all your booklists for all your classes.
Matt: So go ahead and print that off.
Matt: Alright, that's it. Here's your booklist. Lissette: Cool, thank you.
Matt: Alright, let's go find your books.
Lissette: Now my first book is an English book, but I can't seem to find it.
Matt: OK. Well that's no problem. If we look over here, we actually have
the beginning of the alphabet, A, all the way around to M.
Now, M doesn't just stop there. It continues over here, as well. All the way to the back wall, and then
it moves forward through customer service, ending in Women's Studies right over there.
Lissette: Ohh, ok. Matt: English is actually separated over here, by itself.
Lissette: OK. Matt: To help with the flow of traffic, because of all the incoming freshmen.
Lissette: Oh, ok. So, we can go find those together? Matt: Yeah, no problem. Lissette: Alright, let's go.
Matt: English 424, section 1. Lissette: Oh, cool. Matt: What you're gonna need is THIS...
Lissette: OK.... OK. Matt: And these are all used, so that's really gonna help you out.
Lissette: Oh, score. Lissette: Oh my gosh, this is a lot of books.
Matt: Here you go. Now we can go head off, and head to AFAS.
Lissette: Oh, cool, OK, let's go. Matt: Those look heavy, let me grab you a basket.
Lissette: Oh, OK. Matt: Just put them in there...
Lissette: Thank you! Matt: You're welcome. Lissette: Well, I think that's all the books I need, right?
Matt: Well let's head up stairs and pay. Lissette: Well, how can I pay?
Matt: The best way to pay, actually, you can pay with Bursar's, which is the most popular way, because
you have a thousand dollar balance on there. You can also pay with debit, and you can pay with credit, and you can pay with check and cash as well.
Lissette: Cool, well let's go. Matt: Let's head up stairs.
Employee: We have online textbook ordering, so you can actually select the books, and we'll have it ready for you so you pay online
And you just come in the day of, and you just pick them up.
Student: I love the doing the online ordering, because it's so much less work when I get here.
Student: I could charge most of the things to my Bursar's account, which is convenient because I didn't have to pay for it right then and
and I could take care of paying for them later.
Student: And I could pay with either my debit card, or my dad could pay for it, or you know.
Employee: When you go downstairs, there's always a bunch of people working down there, we hire a bunch of staff and they
walk you to like where your books are located.
Student: I've had really good luck with it so far,
they've had all of the books that I've wanted, and it's easy to return them if a teacher changed their minds and I don't need it.
Matt: Are you ready to pay? Lissette: Yeah, I wanted to put them on my Bursar's Account, can I do that?
Matt: No problem, let me just see your CAT Card Lissette: OK!
Matt: Alright, let me throw these in a bag for you. Now, what you can also do next time you come in the store, is you can
is you can do an online textbook order. Lissette: Oh yeah how do I do that?
Matt: It's easy, convenient, and gives you the first pick of used books!

Lissette: So remember, if you need any kind of help, with books, supplies,
computers, programs, anything that has to do with your classes,
