didn't you appreciate Brian and Krista
so good when you write songs like that out of that place
there's something really rich about that we're
starting a new series today and I want to remind you of
something of something everybody wants to be an
owner and virtually nobody wants to be owned that's
pretty much true isn't it I mean I'm a car owner so to
speak I've got a 2007 car runs great doesn't have real
high mileage on it but instead of leasing it or
whatever I mean you finance stuff or whatever but you
want to be an owner and that was what I set out to do and
you know you want to own your home because ultimately
owning is better than renting if you have the
ability to do that we had to rent for quite a while we
were newly married and all that stuff and finally got
to where we could purchase a house what we found out
though is that we purchased a mortgage we own the
mortgage the bank owned the house unfortunately over the
last you know five six years a number of people have
found that out in the market that we have had but you
know for credit and equity and those kind of things you
know you prefer to be an owner of the house so to
speak even though you really just own a mortgage or maybe
you know we all want to be owners but not be owned at
our job we really don't like it when our boss treats us
like they own us can I get a witness I mean I've talked
to some people you know and it's like woo man and you
feel like they've stepped way over the lines of like
you know the personal space and an personal life and all
that kind of stuff and now they act like they own us
and that's when you're going in your mind hey you do not
own me I am an employee but you do not own me because we
all want to be owners and we don't want to be owned in
sports it's it's not a compliment when you are said
to have been owned like for instance if you're a pitcher
and you're pitching against a batter who's at the plate
and this pitcher throws a nasty hook man it's a nasty
you know curveball slider whatever it just buckles the
batter for strike three they might say to that batter hey
bro you got owned pitcher owned you right it's not a
compliment or a defensive back that's coming up for a
tackle and the running back sees him one-on-one and the
running back runs him over and keeps going they're like
that defensive back just got owned or the point guard who
comes and drives into the lane and dunks over the 7
foot center they look at center and they're like
oooooo you just got owned right it's not a compliment
because people want to be owners they don't want to be
owned its just kind of the nature of how we are now I
understand that to a degree and in some senses right you
don't it's not right for employers to cross over too
many lines and act like they own you or I understand all
of that but if you keep this mentality that you are the
owner and that you don't ever want to be owned if you
let that slide too far into your world it will cause a
big humongous problem because you'll get confused
on actually who owns what but what'll happen is is
that you start to act and behave even though you
wouldn't say it this way you start to act and behave in
such a way that says I'm basically the owner of this
world and everybody else is just a guest in it that's
kinda how we begin to operate that is no way to
live that is no way to operate because if there's
one thing I want to remember in this message it's this
and you can write it down and it rhymes which is even
cooler we are not the owners we are the owned because the
world we live in is not our own real simple we're not
the owners we are the owned because the world we live in
is not our own now in other words it would be like
saying this we're not homeowners here we live here
but we are stewards we're not homeowners we are living
in a place that's not our own in fact sometimes that
can be said more poetically when you hear it in music or
you hear it in lyrics and there's a homegrown guy from
Western New York who now lives in Nashville who is an
artist named Mark Sebelia and he's a really really
talented guy he's kinda like a modern-day Bob Dylan
except he's intelligible you can actually understand what
he singing instead of (mimics Bob Dylan) right
that's my impersonation of Bob Dylan who's really good
but I just basically I could do that you know (mimics Bob
Dylan) I was like what what did he just say you know
what did he say he could have said anything he could
have been talking about right I eat a pop tart for
breakfast you know and I'm like what but he writes
incredible lyrics Bob does but Mark actually kind of
phrased this idea that we're really not owners in the
place that we live in and I'll give you since I'll
just let you hear a couple the first lines into the
course of this song and it's really good take a quick
look
how great is that line I've got keys to a house
that's on loan I've got keys to a car of rust and chrome
I've got keys to things I'll never own cause I know this
world it ain't my home brilliant and you can
understand him it's killer what's great about this idea
is that if we embrace this idea it really benefits our
understanding of relationship to God if we
understand that we are not the owners we are the owned
because the world we live in it's not our own we don't
run the joint that benefits our relationship with God
but if we don't have that mindset it really begins to
creep into everything that we are and it begins to work
against us because what happens is as we begin
thinking we're the owners of everything and we fight for
every vestige of our ownership and to me one of
the great pieces of how we demonstrate our ownership of
our own world is in our time that is the kind of the last
stand for us where we kind of plant our feet and go no
one's going to tell me when or where or how because I
own my own time I am free I am independent I am a rugged
I can do what I want to do when I want to do it and we
dig our heels in the ground and say this is kind of the
last stand for demonstrating our ownership over ourselves
but here's the thing what we have to remember is that we
are not the owners we are the owned and so if that's
the case then how should we view the ownership of our
time well what I want to do is run back to the beginning
of the Scripture and of the revelation we have about God
because I'm going to set it up in such a way hopefully
to get to a place where we can understand in a logical
way what how we should look at the ownership of our time
and then I'm gonna drill down into some ways that we
can apply that real practically ok so that's
where we're headed so I could back all the way up to
the book of Genesis chapter 2 for just a few moments and
I'm going to be bouncing around a little bit so those
of you who flip through with me awesome your thumb's
gonna get a workout but here's where we're gonna
begin after the creation narrative in Genesis chapter
1 about God creating then we also have a companion
creation narrative in chapter 2 that gives us a
little different take on the same story but here's what
it says after God had finished creating in Genesis
chapter 2 beginning in verse one it says thus
the he had
done now this is great because it says this that
God created everything and then it says on the seventh
day that God rested from all of his creating now let me
pause for a second when we look at this this particular
day the seventh day is unique because it's not like
any of the previous six days that are mentioned here
about God and his creation because on every one of
those days in the beginning it says that he created and
there was morning and there was evening the first day
and then he did some more stuff and there was morning
and there was evening the second day and you get the
picture right morning and evening the third day the
fourth day the fifth day the sixth day but on the seventh
it does not mention anything about morning and evening it
simply says that God is finished with his act of
creating and now God rests from his creating the idea
is that morning and evening was giving us an idea that
the creation was working itself toward a potential
finish and that here on what is called the seventh day
God ceased from his creating and he rested now that word
rest is also tied up with the word Sabbath because in
the Hebrew language may have a similar route it's where
we it's the Hebrew word Shabbat where we get our
word Sabbath right when we see seventh we think Sabbath
when we see rest we can also think Sabbath it's tied up
in this idea of Sabbath so there's God who finishes his
creating and now on the seventh day or the Sabbath
he rests from his creating now we all know that God is
not resting because he's tired right it's not as if
God says woohoo man just made the cosmos was some
serious work somebody pull me up a bark-a-lounger I
need to kick it back in the la-z-boy and bring me some
lemonade this was tough this is not what God is doing God
never runs out of steam never runs out of energy
he's not drained he's God he within himself is very life
so God is not resting from being tired he is resting in
a different way he is resting from his work of
creating so he doesn't rest because he's tired he rests
because he's completed what he set out to do now when we
see this we have to understand how the people
who originally read this when Moses is writing to
this group of people who originally read it how did
they view what he was saying about this creative event we
can't just take our Western goggles and impose upon it
something we have to say how was how were the people that
were hearing this for the very first time the audience
that was being written to in the Scriptures how are they
hearing this well in the ancient world here's what
you have to understand what they knew about in the
ancient world were kings and kingdoms surrounding all of
Israel were all of these kings and kingdoms tangible
kings who made themselves out to be gods and those
kinds of things and what you get in Genesis chapter 1 and
2 is a reminder that all these things that made
themselves out to be gods the sun an the moon and the
stars and the birds and all those kinds of things
they're not gods they were created by the one God that
this one God made all of these things and so
functionally what you're reading about is you're
reading about a king who is creating everything and that
the cosmos that he is creating is his abode or his
Temple his habitation so that everything in the world
he is creating is now a place for his abode so what
God does is as the king he creates everything in the
cosmos and then upon completing that creation and
upon furnishing that creation he sits down on his
throne in this temple of his own and he rests and rules
actively enjoying the creation that he is made it
doesn't mean that he does nothing it means that he is
resting and ruling in the sense that he has completed
his creation and now he's ruling over it and enjoying
it this is what they would have been hearing in their
heads so what it teaches us is this it teaches us that
God is the creator and owner of everything plain and
simple God is the creator and owner of everything and
so what he did when he brought his people Israel
into existence is he wanted them to be reminded of that
very same thing so he told them when he gave them the
Commandments how they were supposed to live as a people
of God one of those commandments we find in
Exodus chapter 20 verse number eight and it says
this now the Sabbath day as you know is the seventh day
and so God says I want you to remember the Sabbath day
and I want you to keep it holy if you remember
anything about the Sabbath day and the way that the
Jews observe the Sabbath day they were not to work they
were to cease from all of their working right and take
opportunity to be able to worship and they had some
very stringent kinda regulations associated with
how they observe the Sabbath they were only allowed to
walk a certain you know a certain distance because
anything beyond that would be considered work if you go
to modern-day Israel today I've been a bunch of times
and you will stay in some hotels there if you are
staying there on a Friday night that leads into a
Saturday which is Sabbath or Shabbat you will be eating
cold food in that hotel because they are not allowed
to work and prepare the food on that day if they're
observant okay not everybody is but if they are also if
you get on the wrong elevator there are multiple
elevators on the hotel one of them is the Shabbat
elevator that if you get on that elevator you get on and
you don't have to work by pushing a button you stop at
every floor if you're where you're saying is on the 30th
floor it's gonna be a while if you're on the Shabbat
elevator because it goes to the first floor ding opens
up forever then closes goes to the second floor does the
same thing because they weren't allowed to work in
those kind of things and those that are observant
Jews would fall in line with that so here's what I want
you to understand the Sabbath is a reminder that
God owns time he gave this reminder to his people that
God himself is the owner of time now Israel was reminded
that God owns time he created time he provides
things in time and the Sabbath when they observe
that is a Saturday now let me pause here for just a sec
cause people get all sideways when you start
talking about the Sabbath it's weird Jerry now listen
really we should be gathering on Saturday
because the Sabbath is Saturday of course the
Sabbath is Saturday everyone knows that the Sabbath is
Saturday well Jerry we've got it on Sunday isn't the
Sabbath on Sunday no the Sabbath is not on Sunday the
Sabbath is on Saturday according to Jewish law it's
the seventh day that's when it is that's what it means
it's not Sunday well Jerry I think there was a conspiracy
of the early church to move the Sabbath to Sunday if by
conspiracy you mean that the church started gathering to
worship on the day that Jesus Christ got up from the
grave then conspiracy it is we gathered to be able to
worship on the Lord's day not on Sabbath you say but
Jerry you're supposed to keep the Sabbath holy and
you're not supposed to do any work or do anything so
people shouldn't be you know doing any work on Saturday
those same people who tell me that usually go to the
mall on Saturday and buy stuff from the people that
are working on Saturday as long as its not them or go
and eat and stuff Jerry they shouldn't be doing that
listen closely what you have failed to maybe understand
is this and I I say this cause it always comes up in
people's heads in their discussions and all that
stuff I'm really torn which day I should worship or that
what I should do on this particular day just stop let
me tell you why the Sabbath was meant to be a sign a
symbol a shadow it is not the reality it is pointing
to a reality let's say you came to my house if you all
came it'd be a problem my house ain't that big let's
say you came to my house you're walking around the
house with me in each room that I go into psycho area
here's where our computer is where a little study as you
know can want in here and I come in and as you're
walking with me I just I pick up a picture of my life
it's on the shelf and I guess it and you might go
okay career but whatever you know okay because it and I
walk in here's our family area in on picture on the
mantle you know about the fireplace and I grabbed my
life and but sweetheart and then put it back up
background another picture this in over here on the
nights you on a little young copy center whatever to pick
it up as picture-perfect images estimate you might
even work a little odd unless of course I had lost
my wife and you know you might be going okay it's
sentimental whatever but but what about if she was
sitting in the room with us without a slightly awkward
where in your mind you're thinking of pendulum against
here maybe I shouldn't say anything but she's right
there might keep kids in the picture it's odd or just
returning from it's returning from being
deployed in your coming off of the Navy ship and your
wife is running to meet you and you see the sun is
glaring behind her hair and your running toward her and
she runs but runs past you falls on the ground and
start hugging your shadow so I see I'm scared to be going
I think you missed the I really hear this ladies and
gentlemen is what the Sabbath is because Paul goes
to great pains in the New Testament to teach us this
music isn't about just a day but that the Sabbath was
really pointing in a direction listen to what he
says in Colossians chapter number two therefore don't
let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink or with
regard to a religious festival or new moon
celebration or a Sabbath day these are a shadow of the
things that were to come the reality however is found in
Christ is he usually have to understand this is
imperative Jesus is the true Sabbath He is where we find
our rest he is where we find our hope he is where all of
our striving ceases Jesus is the true Sabbath and
remember we said this Sabbath is a reminder that
God owns time but let me give you now that the
logical next step in its mess since Jesus is the true
Sabbath Jesus owns our time are you following me here
since Jesus is the true Sabbath and the Sabbath is
intended to remind us that God owns time since Jesus is
the true Sabbath Jesus owns our time another starts to
get a little personal doesn't you see when you can
keep it at a distance it works out really well for
you because many people have Visit such a distance that
they said you know when it comes to my time I know that
God owns one of the day's I'm still try to sort out
Jerry am really not sure if it's the Sabbath on Saturday
that Sunday not sure which one but I'm giving them one
of my day when in press you given him one of your days
he owns them all he's the owner you and I are the only
because the world that we live in it's not our own he
owns everything including our day's you see when we
get into this mindset that working to give God one of
our days going to give you one of my bins like we've
impressed them like we done them a favor board what
motivates here it is we give this to you though please
place please don't fall himself to just one of my
days waited to and some of us think that we been doing
better lesson out there right now I don't I don't
even tie my time I do better than that is about hiding my
time there would be 10 days of which I would give God
one but there's only seven I did when I did was set not
wanting talk about generous talk about generous now
there's some people I wish that we could at least get
them to give God one day the got always loses on one
particular day but generally speaking some people have
this idea I have God one day and the rest of the week I
own it because is the last vestige of back which says
that I'm the owner and I can give away a little piece of
it but I'm the owner here's the problem everything about
your philosophies all wrong because you're trying to
create one day is holy instead of every day as holy
and you're missing the point because the point is that
God owns all of our time that Jesus because he's the
true Sabbath owns all of our time not just one day and
don't get me wrong what we do on the Lords day in
gathering to worship is right the New Testament
speaks to that that we are not to abandon the gathering
of ourselves together so that we can support one
another toward good works we can hold each other
accountable and help one another in love one another
and promote good works among each other it is right for
us to gather as a corporate body and worship the Lord is
his right to do but don't make the mistake of thinking
that this is the only day that is holy to the Lord
every day is holy to the Lord because he owns them
all he's the owner where not were the because the world
we live in is not ours we don't run the joint it's
here it's using this is something we have to really
grab hold of and ultimately the writer of Hebrews
actually speaks to this and it's really interesting how
he speaks to it in Hebrews chapter 4 because restoring
is talking about this idea of Sabbath rest and if you
remember.establish that for the people of Israel and God
led Israel out of captivity and led them into the land
of promise and that was viewed sort of as candidate
like a Sabbath rest that they were to get to go into
this land of promise and they would be there or be
rest for their souls and be peace in all the strides
they but you know it's interesting what the writer
of Hebrews does he doesn't allow us to say that God has
only one day Saturday or Sunday that is his he
actually names another David says like what yeah you he
calls it today it's exactly what the writer of Hebrews
says your Dagon owns today and so he said something
really interesting here in Heber Center for pickup with
me inverse number six is is therefore since it still
remains for some to enter that rest and since those
who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did
not go in because of their disobedience got again set a
certain day calling it today this he did what a long time
later he spoke to David as in the passage already
quoted today if you hear his voice do not harden your
hearts for Joshua had given them rest in other words
permit rest God would not have spoken later about
another day there remains than a Sabbath rest for the
people of God for anyone who enters God's rest also rest
from their works just as God did from his let us
therefore make every effort to enter that rest so that
no one will perish by following their example of
disobedience to let because reversing sometimes when I
read the Scripture I turn into a cartoon character
given what I would do this I know that does it try to
figure out what the world is what what what happened I do
that on occasion when I read the Bible because I just
read here in the book of Hebrews that says anyone who
enters God's rest was in this when entering God's
wrath then you have to rest from your works the working
so then he says so make every effort to enter that
rest was a you just told me I can't have effort to find
God's rest so make every effort to have no effort
help don't talk about here's the thing I like what it
helped me to do was turn my attention back to Jesus
because I think Jesus helps crack the code for us a
little bit if we want back in what Jesus said it helps
to explain a little bit about what the writer of
Hebrews is saying when he says you can't work to enter
God's rest so make every effort to do that because of
those seem almost contradictory make they're
actually not listen to the words of Jesus and you'll
see something pretty cool Matthew chapter number 11 it
says Jesus has come to me all you who are weary and
burdened and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you
and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart
and you will find rest for your souls for my yoke is
easy and my burden is like now pause right there leave
that up for just a minute which is to look at this
passage I want you to notice in the very second line
there okay it says can be on your weird and burden was in
and I will what what's the word okay so there's a rest
that he give us right I will give you rest then I want
you to look in the second to last line it says I'm gentle
and humble in heart and you will what find rest for
yourselves to listen there's a rest that Jesus gives and
there's a rest that we find Jesus says okay Jerry,
you're still not helping me, but thank you let me try
only try this one on the rest that Jesus gives in my
mind is referring to our salvation do you remember
the day those of you who have been born from above
who been transformed by Jesus coming into your life
and transforming it you remember the day we met him
I did I read related yesterday I remember that
leading a life my own way being the own my own owner
and make my own choices and doing things my own way of
living life the way I want to live it and I remember
being home in the summer of 1989 after a party that I
attended that happened to end up being a churchlike
college-age party it looks weird to me because I wasn't
used to that coming from the University of Georgia they
didn't have a lot of church parties at the University of
Georgia quite the opposite in fact and I remember after
that party standing with a young lady named K in the
middle of the street from midnight to 3 o'clock in the
morning where she just continued to talk to me
about the gospel of Jesus Christ that he could
transform me that he could forgive me that he could
make me brand-new it was hard for me to conceptualize
and then at 3 o'clock in Morrissey HUD may she told
me she loved me and she drove away on still standing
in the middle of the street and buy myself I looked up
toward the sky because as best I could tell that where
I figured heaven might be in Jesus might be hanging out
and I said Jesus I don't know why you would save me
but I believe in you I believe that you love me I
believe you died for my Sandman I don't have to be
convinced that I'm a sinner, well aware of and I'm asking
you to come into my life and forgive me my sitting change
my life and whatever words I used it was something along
that sentiment idea what happened in a moment and say
something that happened in that moment I found rest
guilt was all she was on my identity being kind of
consumed in who I was was now really subsumed into God
is all of those things were gone I felt like the weight
of the world had been lifted off of me that my sins had
been taken and thrown into a sea of forgetfulness never
be remembered by God again and I will clean and why
likes out and I remember standing there thinking I
sell this is why looks like this is what it means to
abide in the life of Christ here's what I know listen he
gave me his grace not by anything that I had done not
by my own words the only way that I can experience this
rest was to cease from stripe and I couldn't
somehow convinced God by an act of all my works but I
somehow that bridged him into a position where he had
no other alternative no God in his mercy God in his
grace God in his love gave his son Jesus he initiated
saying I love you first before I ever did God
through his son paid the penalty that was my own for
my sin and rose from the dead showing that his gift
was satisfying to the father now because of God giving
this to me I found rest but here's what we know if you
remember that time you feel it away to the world came
off of you you understood what it meant to rest in God
because of the end of the day you and I were horrible
owners of our own life it's what we do when we now come
to know Jesus Christ as we walk with him and were fired
up but eventually the flame, starts to wear down a little
bit and realize that you and you still go back to work
and people still no dog unit in Boston treat you in a
junky or fellow employee treat you junkie her husband
treat you junky or your wife treat you junkie are you
kids treat you junky or whatever it gets difficult
against challenging it gets hard and maybe start making
choices that were consistent with the way that used to
live as opposed to the way that you now have been born
from above to live differently start to get
cloudy and you start to be troubled in your soul starts
to feel tossed and you feel hairy and you feel like
you're a mess inside Jesus says there's a rest that I
give there's also a rest that you find and the rest
that you find will only be found in one place Jesus
tells in a yoke it is not in an egg yolk he's talking
about a yoke Wai OKE it's something that an ox would
get into with another oxen they were bound by this
wooden apparatus that clicked in their next
together and what's this ox gets in with this other
rocks into a yoke you know what that ox realizes pretty
quickly he's not in charge anymore whoever's driving
the cart that's who's in charge Jesus says this to us
if you want to know what real rest looks like if you
want to know what real peace looks like if you were
really find that out I would invite you on invite you to
get down here with me and put my yoke upon you I'm
already in it because I am saddled to the father what
he says that's what I do where he leads that's where
I go if you want to know what real life looks like
lock it in here with me don't be afraid books my
yoke is easy and my burden is light doesn't mean easy
as in your life's been a happy problem freaking means
easy and the fact that it's going to be you go to walk
in peace even in the midst of these trying
circumstances even in the midst of the wind and waves
uvula walk in peace and resting in God because he is
the one who is driving you see when you get into the
yolk is what you understand you are oh you are not the
owner you are the own because the world you live
in if not your own this is what we have to be able to
grab hold of embrace of are you suggesting have you let
your time become an item you because it's the last
vestige of us holding on to our ownership but let me say
this to you you and I we are horrible owners of our own
time jury M 40 reorganize actually the gramophone
record on the calendar on I really am a pretty good time
if I can teach time management area for me to
bear shift that I teach time management midphase of if
you manage your time for the sake of your own ownership
you are wasting it all your seminars help to teach
competencies to people and will do nothing to teach
them about what it means to be yoked together with Jesus
because sometimes Jesus when we are yoked together with
him he will speak to us and say this is what I want you
to do with your time this is what I wanted because is
what we realize it is time not ours he owns it it's all
hits now some of you get freaked out by now here's
why as you say it if I really get on my face before
God and I just put my schedule before and I say
here you go to here it is he can tell me do some stuff
yeah but here's your problem your viewing that is a bad
thing as if he doesn't know better than you as if also
he wants what's worst for you you got a broken view of
the Jesus is on gentle and humble in heart my yoke is
easy my burden is light on a joint attack on the guilt
for you join a walking when the place is a real
excitement you know what it means arresting me and you
can show the world what that looks like when means to
trust me with your time this last vestige of your
ownership where you may it down and say here it is that
we say nasty you said you're what I Jesus say to me if I
lay my time down before him I don't know it's not
business these the owner he might tell you to take an he
might tell you to get your lazy cell phone he might
tell you to stop working so much and ignoring your
family he might tell you stop making your family and
idle an excuse your inability to serve God here
is my family day out Worship its institutionalism I can
do with my family stop that's just a cowardly hide
behind some excuse of family to basically say you are
terrible leader not leaving your family to know what it
means to worship God I still love you but I'm talking
straight to because we need this all of us Jesus might
say to you I with your time why don't you portion out a
little bit of that time in the morning and spin some
with me as I love the shape you and who I want you to be
position up Amy much attention than give me much
time and you too busy sleeping in the worship
service when a pastor talking to you about it like
some of you right now we just woke up when I said
that a morning that I can see everything. These are
trade glasses in fact magnifiers maybe Jesus would
say this once you give the kid some of your time cream
into your home bring her into your home careful or
maybe he'll say I'm not leading you to take a kid in
maybe I am leading you to help the family out that is
taking the maybe that his thing I don't know his
consent but don't assume don't assume that what he
says you're going oh man this is gonna be tough
listen who cares if it's tough it's because that's
what we truly learn how to live you and I were horrible
horrible owners of our own life and her own time and
only Jesus knows how to do that the right way you have
to make the determination who the owners in the okay
this the revelation Scripture makes it very
clear where are the owners when the young this world we
live
in is
not
father thank you for the gift that we
have of time we don't have more than anyone else has we
all have the same it's because you own it all and
you give us grace in the midst of it that we want to
turn our eyes to you and say God everything we have
including our time is yours teaches how to use it for
your glory there has about if you're here and you've
never come into relationship with God through his son
Jesus had your since forgiven the weight of the
world lifted off of you he's waiting with open arms those
open arms went to across an extended themselves for you
he rose from the dead and he is the one who can save he's
the one who can forgive he can forgive you your sins if
you clean slate right standing before God if you
want to know what that looks like what that means no one
to ask you were dismissed to just come by the fireside
room and there's pastors and folks allow the talking for
a moment about that for the remainder of the some simply
to pray for us father you know how we need to respond
and I pray that we would because we love you not
because we necessarily feel guilty but because we love
the maybe you've prodded us and that our love for you
says were willing to do whatever it is you call us
to dance of God by your spirit I pray that you would
put a finger on every single place in all of our hearts
that we need to surrender what it looks like for us to
say our time is yours we know God that you will you
will lead us well when we are yoked together with you
elitist well so we don't have to fear that we have to
embrace it because we trust that your good so what I
prayed to allow us to be that kind of people whatever
it is you lead us to do that we would do it out of love
for you and love for people I pray this in Jesus name Amen
