Hey, Iím Whitney Fierce. DJ Whitney Fierce if you will. Weíre at the Bacardi Coachella after party, chilling out.
>> JACK: Thereís a good buzz about it. Feels like everyoneís out looking for each other.
>> EDWIN: Weíre playing by a lake so itís very relaxing.
>> GUS: Weíre playing some tunes and genuinely soaking up the vibes.
Bringing the guests over here in these amazing Cuban styled convertibles. Everyoneís just been having a blast, taking photos, just having a good time with these cars.
>> GUS: Coachella is for upcoming artists, we watched some bands that were on the way up like Lord Huron and people like that and thatís really great, because itís just not about the big headliners, itís about people coming to watch the bands they know and to discover new bands.
>> TWIN: I think any support for anywhere means the world to artists.
>> EDWIN: You want to play to more people, you want to have more exposure. Weíre playing a big show here, we played a fairly big show last time.
But all summer weíre playing big shows at festivals.
>> JACK: Weíre not very big in America and to play Coachella and to reach such a wide audience itís a huge deal I think.
>> WHITNEY: You have to be big to play Coachella no matter what, even if youíre a big, tiny band. But the minute you get to that plateau, youíre going to blow up if youíre at Coachella.
The parties around Coachella are amazing at exposing artists as well, they have bands DJ-ing or playing at parties and there is such this mass of music from here to Palm Springs.
>> JACK: Thereís so many different kinds of music, different kinds of bands, I think it makes for an exciting atmosphere.
>> TWIN: Iím working on my new record, Iím also working on some re-mixes, Iím collaborating a lot with a lot of different people.
>> GUS: This is one of the biggest music festivals in the country so it felt like stuff had been building up to Coachella a lot. It was the end of our tour so that was really exciting.
>> JACK: In terms of the West Coast as well, everyone comes up to Coachella.
