I am planning a birthday party for Sally.
You are? They can be kind of expensive.
I know, that is why I am going to save money however possible. Do you know how to save
money on kids birthday parties?
Well, doing it yoursef like blowing up your own balloons and making all the decorations
will certainly save money.
Oh yeah it will. I am a smart mom, in mom jeans.
Of course you are! What else supersaver?
Well of course to save money, I am going to have the party at home.
It is going to be a lot of work, but it is really the cheapest way to have a kids birthday
party.
You can also make your own cake instead of buying one.
Yeah, I intend to. Do you want to help me?
Hey, I am not exactly Betty Crocker, but I can give it a whirl.
Hey, as long as you don't poison us, and you can ice a cake you are hired.
OK! I will get right on that!
Another money saving option I have put into place is allowing the kids to design and send
their own invitations.
That might be a good thing to do, or you could send electronic invitations online, if you
ae not pleased with results.
Yep, I am on top of that as well.
Don't forget to control the number of invited guests as well. You don't want all the guests
costing you money.
I know I plan to stay on top of it.
Another thing is party favors. Rather than buying some I think I will have the kids make
their own favors as a party activity.
That sounds like a neat idea!
Yeah, friendship bracelets are always popular, and easy to make, and don't cost much.
Well, you sound like you have all the bases covered super mom!
