The refugees that were displaced
Have no shelter, no money, no clothes
I try to help people
By giving them clothes, food, shelter, medical assistance
Specially if someone is sick
And for kids the situation is devastating and hard
5 months ago the situation was better than now
First, there weren't many refugees
Second, everyone cared
International and humanitarian organizations were more involved
Now there's an issue
We used to contact 250 families and receive 700
So there's a lot of pressure on us, many people are coming
At the same time we don't want to deny families their right to live
It's the minimum right they have as humans
Many are wretched
They don't have food, why?
Why are they living in fear of tomorrow?
This type of work ... Because of the people
Because it's for the people
I am a human being I'm not just an individual
Someone contacts me telling me he has some clothes
Then another one contact me and then someone else
I gather them til I have enough quantity
We have lists of pepole , we send them the donations
The last case we had is widely spread here
It's the result of the contaminations, the camps environment
That is not well suited for living
There are many cases of fleas, skin infections, rabies
We try to provide them with medicines for short term treatments
The last case we got was Thalassemia
We needed to treat the blood of a 15 year old kid
And the hardest is the pregnancy files
I am wondering why they're still having babies
How can you provide all the milk, the diapers
Health care, food supplies, clothes
The most important things are food, security; therefore stability
But all this comes on the behalf of education
Which is the basis, the most important thing
This is whole generation A country's whole generation
What will happen to them in 5-6 years
If things stay the same until when things will stay the same?
I wish this was a nightmare That all this never happened
Go to my place
Go down the street
See all my family and friends whom half of them are gone
Or died or were arrested
See them in the streets
Do whatever i feel like doing
Go to Old Damascus
Sit and walk under the rain
As if it was a dream
Or a nightmare
There are no dreams
