Welcome to Cynthia's Home Cooking!
Today, we're making a special breakfast treat...
Oatmeal Cranberry Muffins.
Oatmeal is a very healthy food.
And these muffins are a great source of fiber and whole grain.
Assemble the liquids
The milk
Egg
The cup of oil
And the cup of molasses
Stir it
We'll now mix the dry ingredients
Wheat flour
The all purpose flour
The oats
We're adding the brown sugar to the liquids
The cranberries
And lastly the seasonings and baking powder
Whisk it mildly until everything is mixed and the cranberries are covered in flour
And now stir the egg and sugar mixture
Add it to the dry contents
Whisk everything until it's combined
But remember to whisk it slightly. Don't over mix it.
Now we're ready to pour this into our muffin cups.
Let's spoon it into our prepared muffin pan.
Fill each cup about 3/4 full.
Our oven has been preheated to 375 degrees.
The muffins will bake for 15 - 16 minutes
at 375 degrees
Now that the muffins are done, take them out of their cups.
Set them aside in a pan to allow them to cool for 3 - 4 minutes before eating them.
They are great for a morning breakfast or a mid-day snack.
