This video will show you how to use the Library search box and the advanced search
Here is the Library search box. Enter your keywords. You can limit your search to books,
or limit to journal articles With All selected, results include both books and journal articles
Click on search
Here are the results The first result is a journal article.

Click View it to to see the available databases
Then choose a database to view the article
Use more info to get extra detail about the article
The second item is a book Click on Locations to see if it is available
Sign in to request the item Use More info to get extra detail about the book
The third item is an online e-book
View online lets you preview the e-book

Locations lets you check for physical copies
Use more info to get extra detail about the e-book
The library website also contains an advanced search
You can search for a keyword in any category
In the title, as author, or in the subject
You can choose the publication date, from any year, to the last 20 years
The material type from; book, articles, journals, images, audio visual, or all items
The search scope can be changed from all resources
to books, ebooks, video and more or journals and e-resources.
On any results page, use the facets on the left to refine your results.
You can refine your results by peer-reviewed and scholarly articles, by content type, by subject, by campus library location and by
publication date.
