And here's Waffle, Granola, Little Radish
Dominican, Horchata, Cappuccino...
Canine Miracles came to be after the unfortunate death of my wiener dog Clavo.
He drowned at my home, and I couldn't understand his death. I knew the meaning of his life.
To give joy, company, play with my children...but he was too young to die.
So I began to rescue dogs who were suffering.
I began with one, two, three...we've received up to 500 at Canine Miracles.
And I can say perfectly well
that now I know the meaning of Clavo's death: Milagros Caninos.
Generally abused dogs arrive here.
For example, dogs beaten by people.
We also have dogs that arrived because they were burned, or buried alive.
Dogs that were tied to a motorcycle and dragged.
Dogs that were run over and left in the street without any medical care.
All kinds of cases have arrived to Canine Miracles.
Today they're all in stable condition.
Some have to be treated for life.
due to the beatings they suffered, more than anything in the spine
and they're the ones using little cars.
Lemon Pie had the bad luck to fall into the hands of organized gangsters, very famous in Mexico.
They cut off his toes, one by one, practicing how to cut humans who are kidnapped.
Later Pie was thrown in the trash and at that point he was rescued.
We finally decided to give him prosthetic legs, and give him a life like other dogs so he could run and walk.
And now he's a dog like any other normal dog.
Well, Flan is a little dog that we say refused to die. At first, he was run over, and this is when in theory he should have died the first time.
However, he didn't die but was paralyzed. Paralyzed, he was thrown into a water channel and in theory this is the second time that he should have died by drowning.
However, he managed to get out and someone took him to a vet to put him to sleep, and in theory that's the third time he should have died. Because they injected him but he didn't die.
So Flan's destiny was to come here to Canine Miracles and now is one of our most spoiled little dogs. He's so loving.
He's learned to talk with his little car and we're really happy to have him here.
They've taught me that we can move forward no matter what.
It doesn't matter what happens in our lives.
Our differences don't matter.
Or if we're hurt by others.
We can always move on, be happy, be content
and say
