This is Mike Mozart of TheToyChannel and JeepersMedia on YouTube with the
Amazing Play Doh Hairdo Dolly made by the Kenner division of Tonka Toys
in 1991 these are the original cans of Play Doh which were never
used let's see if it's still good after twenty years in that Play Doh package brand
new
Well, There it is! Look at this, it's still soft after all these years! Oh, check this
out
Happy Birthday Play Doh their thirty-fifth anniversary seems like they were about
thirty five sets that were available that year!
well i think it's interesting, as i have most of these sets, including Ohh, there's
the Batman Playset
Oh Look! There's the Play Doh Hairdo Dolly Ohh, the rare Play Doh Beetlejuice Haircut Salon ohhh.
The person that got it for their birthday. Awww These go on top of her head after you
stuff it with Play Do and turn here arm like this
and you'll see a green plunger comes up
that's what pushes the hair out through the holes, and we need to stuff this Play Doh in this
opening underneath her scalp
Now try to put this on our little princess here you need to twist this on tight and i
Now you are ready to twist her arm to extrude the dough to make hair. Now her hair is all
grown out, you actually can braid the big, long,
thicker play dough
that's on the side we can trim the braids off so they're even
have to give her bangs a trim to make them nice and even
there we go! Isn't she beautiful? Now we put some Play Dough in this little included
mold to make the Bows and the Accessories. there's lots of crevices for all the playdoh
to get stuck in, inside this mechanism. Now we are going to use the straight hair mold
But this one we are going to have yellow, red and blue Play Doh, so she makes rainbow hair!
Take the yellow, put on top of the red, and put that on top of
the blue
and then it goes into the bottom of the mold like this as a stack! First the yellow
comes out
and you're going to see the pink is slowly being added, and at the end it's going
to have the blue
Look at all the Play Doh hair being made right now! is that amazing and now you can
style her hair, and make her hair look fantastic! And now our Play Doh Dolly has beautiful
rainbow hair!
you take Play Doh like this, looks just like a piece of sh*t
[Scringy Cameraman] Take "Mister Hanky" and shove him inside!
Shhh Quiet, Just take one of the hair templates that goes on top of the little dolly's head
there's a place underneath to put Play Doh in . . laughs
Don't Stop, Keep it rolling
Keep it going!
now that her hair is extruded you make the "Wave Cut" move these over slowly until her head
is covered evenly
with this beautiful wave of hair, and use these included Play Doh scissors to trim her
hair, to make her bangs nice and even, and now our Play Doh Hairdo Dolly has brunette hair
with little flower earrings that were made from the molds
a little headband covered in stars that you made yourself, and topped off with a little
blue bow
isn't she lovely? and the last hair template is the ponytail template
i suppose you could use this as a pasta making mold?
i put a little band around it, and a little bow, isn't that beautiful?
Hairdo Dolly needs a name! Please recommend one in the comments section
