The change in our name
to Alex & Associates
reflects a change in an evolutionary process in our practice.
The first thing that we have done
is now reshaped our focus.
We've been focusing on tractor-trailer accidents or what I call "Big Wheel" accidents.
That would be semi's, buses,
cement trucks, that type of thing.
We are also focusing
on construction accidents,
motorcycle accidents,
dog bites
and bicycle and pedestrian accidents.
And, I realized over time,
these are the individuals, the victims,
who need our services the most.
What are we doing differently?
Over the last
several years
I have been focusing on advanced trial techniques.
We're "trial Lawyers."
Trial lawyers not only should know how to go to trial,
but they should enjoy going to trial,
they should be effective
when they go to trial.
I've read many books
on advanced trial techniques.
i've spoken to
professors,
have spoken to some of the
best attorneys
in the United States. I have attended
seminars on
the subject
and I've practiced it.
And to me,
it's about "wanting" to go to trial,
"enjoying" going to trial
being "comfortable" with juries,
and communicating
with juries.
building rapport with them,
using
the best experts
that we can identify
using
trial exhibits
that the jury can understand and relate to.
It's really about communication
and presenting your case
the highest
and best way possible.
We remain committed
to our clients.
And, what does that mean?
To me it means the difference
between
a life of charity
and a life of financial dignity
is how well we do for our clients.
And at the end of the day,
when we make that BIG difference
in our client's life so they can have a life of dignity, then we've done our job.
