Hi, it’s Steve from PartSelect. Today we’re going to show you how to change the turntable
support ring on your over the range microwave. It’s a pretty easy job; no tools required.
Let me show you how we do it.
Now to change the turntable support ring we’re simply going to open the door of the microwave,
we’ll remove the glass tray, and simply lift the old turntable support ring out and
discard it.
We’ll take our new support ring, simply lay it in place, and while we have that apart
lets look at the drive coupling; we’ll pull that out and make sure that there’s no cracks
in the D-shaft on it. Set it firmly back in place.
And while we have the tray out just check to make sure there are no chips or cracks
around the edge; these are tempered glass and they’ll explode if they have a flaw
in them anywhere; and you should also take caution when you’re washing them, don’t
put them into really hot or cold water, let them climatize first.
Put the tray back in place, make sure it sits firmly on all three wheels, and our repair
is complete.
We told you it was an easy job. Thanks for watching, and good luck with your repair.
