Welcome to the Ryerson Students' Union
Hi, I'm Melissa Palermo and I'm your President here at the Ryerson Students' Union.
The RSU represents all 30,000 full-time undergraduate and all graduate students here at Ryerson.
Together, we work to build campus community by holding events, organizing campaigns,
providing cost-saving services, advocating for students' rights, and making sure you get the most out of your campus experience.
so drop by the Student Centre at 55 Gould St., join your Students' Union to get active and get involved.

Hi, my name is Ifaz Iqbal and I'm your Vice President Operations.
The Ryerson Students' Union offers cost saving services, because as students in Ontario
we realize you pay the highest tuition fees in the country. So start saving money
by getting TTC discounted metropasses from the Member Services Office, visiting the used book room to buy and sell your used textbooks,
getting your projects printed at a discounted rate at copyrite, and our whole list of other services.
So take full advantage of your RSU membership and start saving money now.

My name is Rajean Hoilett and I'm your Vice-President Equity.
Here at the Ryerson Students' Union we recognize that students are more than just students,
and that the diverse identities that students hold shape the way that students experience and relate to campus life.
Through advocacy and campaigns, we work to protect your rights and make sure that ALL students voices are heard.
If you're interested in joining the fight for a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable campus
make sure to drop by one of our Equity Service Centres which includes RyeACCESS, RyePRIDE,
the Centre for Women and Trans* People, the Racialised Students Collective, and the Community Food Room
or you can get involved with our Equity and Social Justice Committee
or Sustainability Committee and make your voice heard.

Hi, my name is Roshelle Lawrence and I am your Vice-President Education at the Ryerson Students' Union.
As students in Ontario continue to pay the highest tuition fees and have suffered through continual fee increases
it's time to make change and fight back, and it's not too late.
As students and as the majority we can continue to join together
to fight and put pressure on governments and administration that the hikes need to stop here!
You're also united with more than 600,000 students with Canada's largest student organization
the Canadian Federation of Students.
So when we're fighting for affordable post-secondary education we're united with students across this country coast to coast.
So get involved, take action and join the Student Action Committee at the Ryerson Students' Union.

Hi, I'm Danielle Brogan, your Vice President Student Life & Events.
At the Students' Union we know that there's more to University life than just doing homework and going to class,
which makes it our job to offer free, inclusive, and accessible events.
Whether it be coming out to our annual Week of Welcome events that kick off the school year,
coming to a weekly pub night or coffee house we host a variety of events all year round.
The Ryerson Students' Union also has over 150+ campus groups
including student groups, course unions, and graduate course unions.
We also know the importance of Blue and Gold Spirit on campus.
So if you really want to get in on the action join the new RSU Athletics Council,
where athletes and non-athletes alike can come together, build campus spirit, and support our Ryerson Rams.
As you can see the Ryerson Students' Union is here for you.
Keep updated by liking us on Facebook, following us on Twitter and Instagram or dropping by the Student Centre.
This year get involved in your Ryerson Students' Union.
