Hi, I'm David from Telstra and today I'll be showing you how you can monitor your usage
and manage your accounts online for your DOT services.
This video will take you through viewing and paying your bill online, show you how to view
your fixed data usage online, how to view your mobile data usage on your mobile and
how to set up mobile data usage alerts

With My Account you can access and manage your Telstra bills via the Internet.
To view, pay and manage your bills online, login to My Account for business on the Telstra
main page.
If it's your first login, you'll find your username and password in the configuration
summary email.
To view and download PDFs of your bill, click on 'view my bill' on the main page.
This will open a new page showing an overview of your accounts.
Click on 'bills' in the menu bar at the top.
To download a pdf, select 'download bills' in the left hand menu.
Use the text fields to specify the dates and level of detail you'd like and then click
the 'submit' button.
Use the download icon on the right to start downloading a PDF version of your bill.
You can also see calls and charges that haven't been billed yet. Just click on 'unbilled activity'
in the top menu.
You can pay bills online through the My Account portal by clicking 'make a payment' on the
main page.
When you click on 'Make a Payment', the 'Enter Payment Details' window will open. Tick the
boxes on the left to select the accounts you want to pay, and then click 'add to list'.
Once you've selected your method of payment, click 'next' at the bottom of the screen.
Then you can enter your payment details and make your payment. Once you've done this the
View Payment Receipt page will open - confirming that your payment has been received.
To check an estimate of the mobile data used on all the mobiles on your account, click
on the mobile phone tab on the main page. Scroll down to 'mobile data usage meter' and
click open application.
A window will open showing the combined estimated usage for all the services on your account.
If you want to display each service individually, click on 'Group xxxxxx' in the 'services'
column.
A bar showing an estimate of the usage for all your DOT mobile services will be displayed.
You can have usage threshold alerts sent to you via SMS or email. If you would like to
be notified when your shared allowance has reached an estimated 85 or 100% of your monthly
data limit, click on 'usage notice' in the left hand menu. then enter the phone number
or email address you'd like notifications sent to.
Click 'submit' and your alerts will be turned on.
Checking your usage and managing alerts for individual mobile services can be done from
your mobile device.
Using a web browser on your handset, visit the Telstra Mobile BigPond website at m.bigpond.com
Tap on the 'My' tab located along the top of the page.
Under 'My Plan Manager', tap on the link labelled My Data Usage in the right hand column.
You'll see an estimate of your mobile data usage displayed onscreen. To manage your usage
alerts, tap on the 'usage notice' link near the bottom of the screen.
This will give you the option to turn your SMS or email usage alerts on or off.
You can view fixed broadband data usage on the CustData portal. If it's your first login,
you'll find your username and password in the configuration summary email.
From the main page of CustData, click 'reports' in the left hand menu.
Select the type of report you want from the sub menu, then use the drop down menus to
select the account and date range you want to view. Click 'generate data report'.
When the next page opens, you can download your report as a PDF using the 'Download report'
button.
If you'd like to adjust your threshold alert settings for your fixed broadband data, you
can do that through the CustData portal.
To view and change the alert settings, start by clicking on 'service management' in the
left hand menu, then click 'usage notification' in the submenu.
This will open a page where you can you can select tick boxes for any alerts you do not
want to receive.
Click 'save' to confirm any changes.
