Today on our 2009 Mazda 3, we'll be test fitting the Rocky Mount's Tie Rod Roof
Mounted Bike Rack, part number RKY1014. With this 4 rack roof racksystem on our vehicle,
we'll being our test fit by placing our Rocky Mounts Tie Rod directly onto our load
bars. Here at the front, we'll need to remove the black plastic covers so we can
bring our straps around our front bar.Once we have the straps fit back into the head
of the carrier, we can use an Allen key to tighten the Allenbolt, which will tighten
our straps around our front bar. With those tight, we can go ahead and replace our black
plastic cover. Here at the rear, we'll bring our bracket around our rear bar, drop
the bolts through, and secure it using an Allenkey to tighten our Allenbolts. With the
front and rear secure, we can go ahead and undo our rear wheel strap and make sure our
skewer at the front
is loose.
