This week’s project is to research one of the atom model theories and create a page
on a class Google Presentation. To access the Google Presentation, do the following
steps: First, log onto your Gmail account
Click on the Drive tab Look in My Drive or Shared with me to find
the History of the Atom Model that has a red square symbol next to it
Open the History of the Atom Model presentation. Click through the pages until you find the
template for the atom model theory that you have been assigned.
Create the slide which includes all the information required.
The title or the name of the scientist, the year the theory was made, a picture of the
scientist, explain the scientist’s discovery and the theory that resulted, and include
a picture that represents the model theory. The template I created, already has a text
box, but if you want to put a text box within the box, use this button.
To add an image, here is one way to do it: Go to Google.com. click on the images button,
type in the atom model that you are looking for.
Choose one that you like and Drag it onto your desktop
Go back to the page you are creating. Click the image icon on the tools bar
Drag the image into the box. You can move the image wherever you want and
you can also change the size. Once you have the information on your slide,
you can use some tools to spice it up. You can add color using the painting tool.
You can outline the boxes and change
the color. You can also change the font and size of the
text
and change the color. You can also make it bold, italicize it, and underline it. You
can also change the color. If you have a partner and want to collaborate
or work with them between classes, you can use the comment section down below.
Once you and your partner are completely done with your slide, go to the the comments box
up above and send me a message telling me that you are done. That will send me an email
so that I can take a look and give you any comments or suggestions if there needs to
be anything added. That’s it! Have lots of fun and don’t
hesitate to email me at msauter@losd.ca if you have any questions or need any help. Thanks
