Regarding the spectator stands, we introduced an entrance fee which was not well received.
This was mainly due to a lack of communication on our behalf at Millennium.
The main idea of the stands is not to be like the PSP and charge everyone an entrance fee.
The idea was that all participating at Millennium whether it be players, press or pit crew could access the stands free of charge.
The error we made in Chantilly was reserving the main stand for payed seating and the stands at the side of the fields for players, pits and other participants.
We are going to go back to a more conventional system; the main stand will be accessible free of charge to all participants with a player pass however we will be reserving the top 3 or 4 rows for payed seating.
The goal is to have more space for our event to accommodate the public. Because on Sundays we don't have enough space in the stands.
The problem is that we have a budget and this budget is exceeded every year so we are forced to have payed seating but it will guarantee the public space in the stands which will facilitate the Millennium.
These stands will as usual be very reasonably priced, €2.50 for Friday, €5 for Saturday and €10 for Sunday if I am not mistaken.
So you can bring your family and they will have guaranteed seat by either booking through the website or at the event.
Again, it will be free for all who participate at Millennium. It is not as some have understood like in the United States where everyone, player or not, has to purchase a seat.
So it will always be free except to the public and we think this is a good way to legitimize our sport and promote our event.
I also remind that people who want to spectate SPL, D1 and D2, we will have free stands for these fields.
