All Donald Trump Jr. really wants is the love and respect of his father — but according
to the latest excerpt from former White House adviser Omarosa’s tell-all memoir, he’s
got a lot of damage control to do.
Omarosa’s upcoming book, Unhinged: An Insider Account of Trump’s White House reveals that
the President threw a fit when his son, Donald Trump Jr., released the emails of his correspondence
with publicist Rob Goldstone about their secret Trump Tower meeting with Kremlin-linked lawyer
Natalya Veselnitskaya in the hopes of getting “dirt” on Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
“He is such a f*ckup. He screwed up again, but this time, he’s screwing us all, big-time!”
raged the President.
The decision to release the unredacted emails to the public was a puzzling one at best,
as they appeared to contain incriminating evidence that Don Jr. actively attempted to
collude with Russian agents.
Trump Jr. and the White House have denied that any discussion of the campaign took place
during this meeting and have argued that the meeting was about “a program about the adoption
of Russian children,” even though the emails that Donald Trump Jr. himself released to
the public plainly show that:
“the Crown prosecutor of Russia … offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official
documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would
be very useful to your father.”
“I love it!” responded Trump Jr. to the offer.
Ironically, Donald Trump Jr.’s overly enthusiastic efforts to somehow win his father’s approval
by boosting his campaign came back to haunt him in a big way, since not only did it infuriate
the President but also put himself in legal jeopardy.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy!
