The first tip I would like to start with is very simple. If you want to play tournament
golf, sign up for some gold tournaments. Jump in the water and learn how to swim. You're
going to learn more from your mistakes than you will ever learn on driving range or any
place else. It will tell you where your weaknesses are, what you have to work on, what your goals
need to be, the list goes on and on. Don't be afraid. Everybody starts out as a raw rookie,
whether it?s the first day they play golf or their first tournament day. You're going
to be nervous, you're going to make some mistakes, but remember this, golfers aren't worried
about what you shoot and how you play, they're worried about they play. So don't think people
are looking at you. Know the etiquette, know the rules, play tournament golf. You'll be
a better player for it. It?s a very, very simple process.
