Hi, my name is Madeliene, and I am here to show you how to move into your new home!
Since the University of Waterloo has so much experience moving students into residence,
this will be extremely easy.
Step 1.
Figure out your move-in day and time slot well in advance.
Step 2.
Make sure you packed all the goods you need to get through the year,
such as a pillow, shower slippers, and notebook, and the list goes on.
Step 3.
On your move in day, make sure you have everything prepared and make your way to campus.
Each residence has plenty of parking and tons of signs to help you find your way!
Step 4.
Once you have parked your car, go to the front desk and pick up your room key.
Then, head back to your car where orientation week volunteers
will be helping you move your stuff to your room. You won't have to break a sweat at all!
Now that you’re all moved in, you’ll be feeling a lot of different emotions, and that’s OK.
Everybody feels this way when they move away from home for the very first time.
But you are ready for this, so go out and explore your rez!
Meet your don and new friends. And, welcome home to Waterloo Residences!
