So, then the most standard option for doing collage work, especially for beginners if
you want to start with something more simple in order to get the hang of it, but also can
achieve really beautiful effects. And a lot of pieces that I do tend to use a lot of color
palette paper, which is what I consider this to be. This is from an actual photography
artist book, but it has some great possibilities within the range of colors. In the backgrounds
and patterns, which I'll get into more later. So you want to make sure that you have a nice
little variety, you have some old magazines that you have next to you. Sometimes you might
even want to use print. It just depends on what effect you're going for. So make sure
that you just have a nice variety at hand the whole time because as I'm working you'll
see, I continue to kind of go back into books when I'm looking for a specific type of pattern
or I'm just wanting to be inspired by something. I always like to have a variety of things
that I can look through while I'm trying to process what palette I'm working with next,
or what colors I'm actually looking for.
