Friday, April the 26th, 2013. This Week on GOG: In case you missed it, here’s what’s new.
When alone in the wilderness with no chance of rescue, there's only one thing you should focus on: Don't Starve!
As the title suggests, this original survival sandbox game puts your character in danger of starving to death. The hunger, however, is only the first of your many problems.
You'll have to strain both your muscle and your mind to make it through that dreadful ordeal.
You get started by gathering everything you think might come in handy and progress to crafting items, building yourself some shelter, and finally starting to prosper in the harsh realm you've been cast into.
Whoah duuude, look at all the colors and shapes. It tastes like, um. It tastes like um. Salty watermelon chocolate! And the music? Whoah.
It's so warm, tingly, and yellow. Oh my god, it smells so good. Like a bacon-scented flower! Duuuuude! My mind's about to explode!
Dyad, an abstract shooter game with vibrant colors, hypnotic sounds, and meditative, yet fast-paced gameplay, has arrived on GOG.com. Gaming meets transcendence--you gotta try this stuff!
Space Empires IV is a sandbox turn-based strategy game of space exploration and conquest. Yes, I did say sandbox. Why?
Because you can customize virtually every aspect of the game, from unit statistics through character attributes, all the way to victory conditions, making the galaxy your virtual playground.
This highly replayable title excels in little details. You have to pay attention to research, exploration, economy, and resource management if you're serious about winning this excellent 4X title.
Two Worlds 2 Epic Edition is a full-blooded action-RPG title presenting you with a huge realm to explore and exploit for experience.
You will find yourself traveling through a diverse landscape of forests, deserts, swamps, seashores, cities, and fields, venturing deep into forgotten caverns and dungeons.
Your character can combine the skills of a ranger, a mage, and a warrior and it's wholly up to you which skills you want to focus on.
You can ride on horseback, craft items, forge weapons and armor, and even brew potions.
What you get here is nothing short of an alternate reality to live in, extended even more in the Epic Edition offered on GOG.com.
Good news, Mac users! Our Mac catalog grows ever larger, and this month it's been updated with more than 20 fantastic titles--both classic and recent.
You can get such titles as Torchlight, Psychonauts, Sniper Elite, Gemini Rue, and many more, DRM-free for your Mac on GOG.com.
The classic release we have planned for the next week, would probably be better off released six months ago. Or, I don't know, 37 years from now!
And this weekend, be sure to check out our Assorted April Games promo.
You can get Hotline Miami, classic Oddworld games, Carmageddon Max Pack, Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy), and other excellent titles with a 50% off discount this weekend, so don't miss out.
That's it! Thanks for watching, and remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel!
