Hurry up Stephanie, hurry up, hurry up because we have to catch a boat to go to the Galapagos. Our
island is Isabela here in the Galapagos just of the coast of Ecuador.
I feel like we are in Jurassic Park right now. We are going to go look for some Iguanas.
They are the coolest creatures I have ever seen, just chilling on the rocks.
See if you can see a sea lion.
Welcome to the giant tortoise breeding center here on Isabela Island, taking a look at some
giant tortoises. So there is a couple of different types of pens here for rescued tortoises and
then there is the bred tortoises with their little babies and those will be released into
the wild eventually.
I want one. I just want to pick one up. So weird. The little babies. That one right there.
That's my guy, right there. I am going to name him Arthur. How about Larry. He just
looks like a Larry to me. He looks like an Arthur.
So these are the giant tortoises that the Galapagos are famous for, and actually what
they are named after. There are babies, and big one and they can get to 400 kilos, the
giant tortoises around here. Those one are the juveniles and over here are the babies.
The babies. They are so fast and cute.
