Now I'll show you how to cut our puzzle pieces out of our cookie. Now, you can cut them freehand
with the knife, or if you're not so sure about that, you can make a pattern with with the
cookie pattern that we made before. And just draw what you think your puzzle will; you
want your puzzle pieces to look like, okay. I've done three three pieces, because I want
to write I Love You. And then, if you cut cut out this pattern like this, and then you'll
have a guide for cutting your cookie.
So, lay your guide on the cookie, and again, with a little sawing up and down motion like
this, go all the way around the pattern. You want to keep in mind when you you design your
puzzle pieces, you don't want any long sticking out pieces, because they'll be prone to breakage.
You want to make sure things are fairly fat, and no long, skinny pieces. And then you want to let that cool for a while,
and when it's cool enough, you may need to go ahead with your knife again to separate
the cookie, but you want to be very careful. While it's warm it's very soft, so you just,
you've just drawn around the cookie, and then later, we'll go ahead and and cut it a little
bit more to separate the pieces.
