before we go on i'm going to have to change this to something a little easier
to look at. We'll go to gradient
and
maybe this gradient 3
and i'm going to change
my border - to black
and believe it or not, we have one more toolbar that i want to show you for
this font work
let's turn it on
view
toolbars
3D settings
right now
the only one
available to assist extrusion
on/off
and extrusion means basically to
bulge out
so i want to make this 3D by making it bulge by clicking this
extrusion
and there we have... We have
our 3D settings
now all our 3D settings are active
we can change the depth
currently it's at zero five we will take it up to four inches see how that looks
i'd think i make it better a little smaller
and our angle of our extrusion
it's showing us that it's going off to the right we're going to change this to
down to the left
i wanna make my extrusion just a little smaller I'm giong back to point five
now we've got our tilt down, up, left, right
clicking the tilt right
allows me
to move it to the right
tilt left does the same thing
in the opposite direction
I also have tilt down
and tilt up
the other thing we can change is this light bulb setting
now you see the light bulb is here on the right. so the light is coming from
this right direction
if I changes this to the bottom
we see it changed
now you can see the light is coming from the bottom
and it's dark on the side if i come from the upper left cornered they should become
bright and this should become dark
so we see where it's lighter here because the light is up
in the upper left and it's dark on the bottom
and this last thing here it is just the 3D color i think we've got a blue
let's change it to red
and there we've change the color and we can rotate
Le met turn off this font work shape
so now we know how to make
a 3D lighted
fontwork shape with the shadow
all from that simple plane font work in that upper left hand corner
