ABIGAIL: There's not a typical KU class.
You're going to take anywhere from a thousand group class
to smaller discussions to smaller lectures.
PAUL: With the right class size and the right teacher you're just
surrounded by learning.
ABIGAIL: Speaking with my professors outside of class really helped.
WILL: They'll rearrange their time so I can meet with them.
MICAH: They're always so excited to meet with you and
you just end up talking about your life.
They're always quick to show you other opportunities to
explore that within the university.
LEIGH: They're all experts in their respected fields.
MICAH: You can tell that they're passionate about what
they're teaching.
WILL: My professors weren't intimidating at all but they
did have very high standards which shows that they respect
us as students.
PAUL: I know in high school it was always a big deal with
academic competition but at KU I've noticed you form a sort
of bond with your fellow students.
Even the big lecture hall classes I've found groups of
students that we can come together and talk and study.
ABIGAIL: The collaborative effort with a lot of my peers
in group projects has been a positive experience.
Most students do want to work hard and they want to learn
from what we're doing.
MICAH: Because of the opportunities and the possibilities
I found here at KU and the support I've received from
professors and faculty I feel like I can take on anything I
set my mind to.
