This is How 2 Do, I'm Caleb Millar
and I'm going to be showing you today
how to change your spell check language in Mac OS Snow Leopard
now how I'm going to do this
how you do this is you come down to System Preferences
language and text
text
and here
in this spelling dropdown
you want to choose the language of your choice. You could choose US english, you could choose
British english
Spanish if you want
just depending on what language you speak what language you want to write in, stuff like that
now I'm going to put it on British English
which was what it was before
and just to test this out. I'm going to go into TextEdit
and this is why you would want to change your language
when I write the word color for example
it's telling me it's incorrect right and you might find well that's how you spell colour well it's not actually
in British English you spell it with a "U"
and that's how I want to write it because that's how I write
so that's what I want
to be throughout the entire OS, in Safari
TextEdit, Pages
any application where I have to write text in
it's going to tell me that if I write colour incorrectly that I need to add a "U" into the word
and so
basically that's all there is to changing your spell check language in Mac OS Snow Leopard
