A girl was asking advice and she's an amazing advice giver! And one of her friends was like
" You know I got into a big fight with my husband and I went home and I just wanted
to scream and yell!" and you were like "Whatever you're doing do the opposite. If you feel
angry go at him with love, and you give him a ***!"
Your thoughts for the record on that?
Four words. BEST, relationship, advice, EVER! It's great advice. I have a new found respect
for Gwyneth Paltrow and all her views pertaining to her wifely duties. Its great, but then
again some may say I'm biased. It's definitely great advice; is a woman ever likely to act
on it? Probably not...
OK so...if they did act on it in the context of the argument, the guys's lost and the woman's
won the argument...
That's alright; who CARES? WHO CARES? I'm coming at it from the point of I've just got
some quality time with my woman alright? She thinks she's just won whatever argument we're
having? Everyone's happy. Its fine. Now I know what you're thinking...You might be thinking
whatever issue originally caused the argument hasn't been
resolved...that's very very true, but then again no-one said that Gwyneth Paltrow's advice
was a long term solution although I definitely think that it could be. It's awesome. My view
on it is try to adopt a rinse and repeat attitude towards all future arguments. Then one of
two things will happen: either arguments will cease to exist in the relationship or one
half of the relationship (most likely the man) will probably go and start making up
arguments to just to get some of that quality time to which I was referring earlier.
I think men and women definitely argue for different reasons. I think that...50-55% of
the time, maybe a bit more if a woman is upset with a man its probably to do with something
that he isn't doing that she feels he should be. On the other hand with a man, if he's
getting annoyed or irritated with the girl, its probably because of something specific
that she's doing. If a man feels so strongly about an issue that he is going to risk an
argument with his woman he is probably going to be getting quite stressed about it and
its probably going to be quite important to him. If a woman follows Gwyneth Paltrow's
advice then what will happen is one, it'll de-stress him; he won't be stressed anymore,
and two, the arguments won't last long enough for too much damage to be done. Things won't
get too heated which is really really good! So there's no way that you could follow that
advice and nothing bad would happen-its great. In this scenario the man loses the battle;
does the man really care? At the end of the day, it is an eternal war but the woman has
disarmed the man in that respect (no pun intended but she has). Does the man care? I don't think
I would; not in the grand scheme of things.
More about sex really here (OK). I know you love talking about sex. There's all these
stories that you hear especially about male celebs getting caught basically sleeping around
(absolutely, yeah). It's just flabbergasting really...
One of the first things that come to my mind when you hear about stuff like this...you're
right. Recently you've just heard about how Danny Cipriani has been allegedly cheating
on Kelly Brook, only a few days ago I read that Sofia Vergara has called off her wedding
to her fiance simply because of his wondering eye. And not too far in the distant past,
you heard about how Halle Berry got cheated on by Eric Benet..That's what these men do!
Where Eric Benet's concerned they're relationship didn't last in part, because of his inability
to be monogamous is what I'm hearing...I don't get that! I don't understand, because in my
view, what drives these men to stray from these stunning women? Explain that to me,
because in Eric's case OK he got treated for "sex addiction" back in '02, '03 OK? First
of all, I thought that was a complete and absolute farce! Now don't misunderstand OK,
I'm not saying sex addiction isn't real, I just think....its very interesting to see
how all these male rich celebrities who are married, happen to have it and it only comes
out after they've slept with dozens and dozens of women that they then say "I've got a problem,
I need to get treated for this addiction." Tiger Woods is another prime example. Then
to add insult to injury, what happens is they come out and they then say " Yep, I've got
a problem!". No. What you're trying to do is insult everyone's intelligence by saying
you've got a problem when you probably don't. All that's happened is that you did what you
did because you could, because you're rich. Women are more willing to sleep with you and
that's what it is but don't tell me that you've got sex addiction! So you're married, and
you've got sex addiction? And why is it it only happens to these married rich men? Its
just ridiculous; its just absolutely ridiculous. I don't think these guys are sex addicts OK?
They just lack control.
Katie Price...Her situation?
What about her? No, no, no, no, no, no. I...No thanks! What's the point? She's not my cup
of tea, that's all I can say. Kelly Brook, Sofia Vergara, Halle Berry...yep...YEP. No,
not Katie Price. I don't understand what would drive a man to cheat on women, who look like
that...These are women that you could argue, are some of the best looking women in the
world. What's the point in cheating with women who look like that? Unless the woman you're
cheating with is better looking than the one you've got then what's the point? What's with
all that wasted energy?
I heard that where Cipriani's concerned he said that...Apparently I heard that he was
sleeping with six other women or something and he did it, in part because Kelly Brook
was allegedly quite boring and all this stuff...On what is it, Celebrity Juice that show that
Keith Lemon hosts I swear a couple of months back she was tonguing a *** or something
blindfolded. There's nothing boring about Kelly Brook! So don't tell me that she's boring.
How can you find someone like that boring? And its not just that; its also the other
thing of...these women don't just look good. They seem to be easy going, they seem to be
companionable, they seem to not take themselves to seriously alright? They're wifey material,
they're Prime wifey material! Cipriani's the worst, because...I understand it as he was
living with Kelly and...he's in her house. So you as a man, you're holed up in this woman's
space...you're eating her food, you're sleeping in her bed and you're sleeping with her and
then you go and you step out of her house, to go and sleep with other women? Really?
That's the ultimate slap in the face; That's the WORST! Even if they are not as nice in
real life as they come across on TV, that's no reason to go and cheat on them; I don't
agree with it, I just don't agree with it. But then again, Cipriani: SCUMBAG. It just
shows these men who cheat, it just shows their level of maturity. That's all.
