A Chinese satellite has found three floating objects in the suspected area of the missing
Malaysian plane.
The images appeared on a Chinese government website last night but were apparently taken
four days ago, and it remains unclear why they're being published now.
The website of the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National
Defence claims the three objects were in the South China Sea.
Vietnam has already searched the area where the satellite spotted the objects. However,
after the images were released, military officials went back to check the area again and found
no wreckage or debris.
China's aviation chief also said there was no proof that the floating objects were linked
to the missing aircraft, which mysteriously disappeared on Sunday carrying 239 passengers.
