Potential TV the place where you can nurture your relationships, transform your life, and
enhance your wellbeing. Today we have a question from Molly and she
writes, "I have been feeling really down and fatigued lately. Nothing seems to be going
right. Work is a drag, I have been in a funk for weeks and now it is affecting my relationship.
I want to be happy but don't know how to turn my frown upside down. What are the keys to
happiness? Well Molly that is a fantastic question and
yes I do have some answers for you. Many experts in the field such as Martin Seligman, the
Dali Lama, Davidson and several others who have researched the keys to happiness that
you can apply in your life and in your relationships so you know how to increase happiness.
And today, I will share the top 6 keys to happiness with you.
Cardio exercise- It is vital to get your body moving and your heart rate up.
Meditation- This can include yoga, tai chi, mindfulness, daily meditation or morning reflection,
or even take a walk outside in nature. Community- Being apart of a community increases
your connection with those around you. So go out there and volunteer, join a social
group or even simply do your favorite hobby. Personal growth- Research studies show people
who focus constantly working on personal development and growth are typically happier than the
average population. Fulfilling Relationships- Creating enriching
relationships is how to increase your happiness. If you have negative relationships that are
bringing you down, it is time to reevaluate and surround yourself with people who brighten
up your day. Random acts of kindness- This can include
volunteer work, doing a thoughtful chore around the house or doing something unexpected to
bring joy to someone's day. As Amelia Earhart says...And it's a tweetable.
"A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up
and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them
kind themselves." Amelia Earhart Now I'd love to hear from you. What are your
keys to happiness? How do you increase your happiness? Share your stories tips and suggestions.
